Evolution Solar Completes Study

Evolution Solar recently completed a massive four-month study of the Chinese solar industry, and now turns its attention to wind energy. “We recently completed our tour of the Chinese solar marketplace, literally visiting each panel manufacturer, silicon producer, and related component companies, in an effort to identify the manufacturers that best fit our needs, and we will expand our due diligence to include the wind turbine industry,” stated Michael Franklin, director of Asian operations of Evolution Solar.

“Wind power is a key component in many of the projects we will be involved with, so we will give the wind turbine industry in China the same attention we dedicated to solar panels,” commented Robert Kaapke CEO of Evolution Solar, “and we will focus heavily on a mid-sized wind turbine that is more suitable for a less rural environment.”

Solar stocks continue to move higher as investors begin to see the light on the horizon from the extraordinary tax incentives recently extended. First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) is up in early morning trading, now 75% higher than its recent low of 95.32, and Evolution Solar (EVSO.PK) is up 54% from its recent low of 1.00, both Tempe, Ariz.-based solar companies.
